It
looks like I will be going to university to pursue engineering.
The logistics need to be worked out, but I’ll likely
start in the fall. I don’t think I would have the
courage to pursue such a career without the assurance I
gained from the Pathfinder Plus program and your counselling.

In
late 2008, I was at a crossroads in my life, not sure what
to do next, when I found Doug, and arranged to have a few
sessions with him. With his guidance, I was able to
clarify my values, identify what I really wanted out of
a job/career and take action towards my desired end.
I was considering going into a field that I now know would
not have been a good fit and am very glad I did some self-examination
with Doug first. I spent a lot of time on the exercises
he gave me, and did additional research as well, all of
which continues to pay off to this day. Today I am
living my values, pursuing my interests and enjoying myself
in the process. My time with Doug was instrumental in arriving
at this point in my life.
If
you are willing to do the work, this is a great way to figure
out what you are most interested in, and best-suited for.
You can keep doing what you're doing now and remain stuck
in your life doing something that is not fulfilling, challenging
or in alignment with your values, or alternatively you can
engage with Doug to help you find a career that is right
for you.

three months later:
I
landed a great opportunity. I feel great because I
hope I will have fulfilled all the expectations I had for
my next career move: better company, better job and
of course, better pay cheque. I can't thank you enough
for all the knowledge you provided me with. Most of
it has been of paramount importance in landing this new
opportunity.

was at a point in my life where I was looking to move forward
